  • Internet-connected tech intergrated within their property could be hacked (61%).
  • Tech such as an unsecured network that revealed when their heating is on and off could attract potential burglars (58%).
  • Lack of understanding of what a "smart home", "connected home" or "digital home" really is (33%).
  • Confusion about the current range of tech available to install in the home and what they should and should not be buying (42%).
  • Concerns about reliability - only one in ten (10%) believed connected devices in the home are more reliable than those that aren't.
